Project Manager – Civil Engineering

As a Project Manager, you will guide projects from concept through completion, ensuring designs are innovative, compliant, and delivered on time and within budget. This is your chance to work on high-profile projects while mentoring a talented team and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver designs for master planning, commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and multi-family developments.
  • Design & Planning: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create civil site drawings including grading plans, stormwater systems, utility plans, and roadway layouts.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Manage permitting processes and ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Client Coordination: Foster strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide professional staff and team members, promoting collaboration, productivity, and professional growth.
  • Optional Client-Facing Role: If you have the personality and desire, youll have opportunities to represent the firm directly to clients.

Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • Experience: 8+ years required, 10+ years preferred in civil/site development projects.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred (not mandatory if licensed).
  • Software: Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Other: Willingness to work in-office and ability to manage multiple project types simultaneously.
Project Focus
  • Exposure to a broad range of project types, including master planning, commercial, industrial, retail, multi-family, drainage infrastructure, and roadway projects.
  • Private-sector focus; public works projects are limited.
  • Familiarity with large-scale developments like Rivulon in Gilbert and Cavasson in Scottsdale is a plus but not required.
