Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams, managing design, construction documentation, and field coordination.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, contracts, and fee proposals with full accountability.
  • Collaborate with clients, public agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies considering land use, zoning, site constraints, and infrastructure needs.
  • Perform constructability reviews and provide technical guidance to design and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state and regional codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • BSCE (or equivalent) with CA Professional Civil Engineer registrationor ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 612 years of relevant experience (or equivalent of 815 years in industry).
  • At least 3 years of management experience supervising technical staff.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other CAD tools.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to direct and plan design teams with autonomy and confidence.
  • Thorough understanding of jurisdictional processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
