Key Responsibilities:

Management & Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor technical staff, guiding design teams toward successful project delivery.
  • Manage construction documents, contracts, field coordination, project schedules, and budgets.
  • Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, public agencies, and internal teams.

Technical Expertise:

  • Conduct conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies, considering land use, zoning, site constraints, infrastructure, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and process regulatory and public improvement plans (both private and public).
  • Perform constructability reviews and provide construction support services.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in California.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design, exhibits, studies, and final plans.

  • Apply engineering principles, techniques, and procedures effectively.
  • Utilize strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques to manage teams efficiently.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • BSCE degree with CA Professional Civil Engineer registrationor ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 612 years of relevant experience (or 815 years equivalent industry experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years managing technical staff with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong project management abilities and experience in client and public-agency interactions.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
