Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate Survey Analyst, you will:
- Research survey and mapping records from multiple sources.
- Review title reports, analyze deeds, and retrace easements.
- Prepare and analyze CAD drawings for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, and as-built surveys.
- Assist with legal descriptions, plats, and exhibits for diverse project types.
- Post-process survey data, perform QA/QC checks, and ensure data integrity.
- Execute closure calculations, boundary analysis, and COGO computations.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet scope, schedule, and budget targets.
- Ensure compliance with local survey standards and regulations.
- Communicate with field staff, engineers, and clients to clarify technical requirements.
Qualifications:
Qualifications- 35 years of experience in surveying, engineering, or construction.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, boundary analysis, coordinate geometry, and construction staking.
- Familiarity with submitting deliverables to city, county, and public agencies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LSIT certification.
- Knowledge of California land use laws and survey standards.
- Experience preparing legal descriptions and plats for public/private projects.
- Prior field experience as a survey technician or crew member.
