Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and associated components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
- Measure, lay out, and assemble ductwork and piping systems.
- Perform system start-up, testing, and commissioning to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards.
- Keep job sites and vehicles clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and team members.
- Accurately complete job-related documentation and paperwork.
- Mentor apprentices and support team training initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing safety and technical training programs.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred; entry-level applicants considered for apprentice roles.
- EPA Section 608 Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces (attics, basements).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC tools, materials, and installation techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NATE certification or other recognized industry credentials.
- Experience with both residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Sheet metal fabrication skills.
