Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, including 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990, 1040, and 1041.
- Supervise and mentor staff accountants, providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
- Conduct tax planning and research for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofits.
- Review work for accuracy and compliance with tax laws and firm standards.
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting strict deadlines.
- Communicate directly with clients to resolve issues and deliver excellent service.
Qualifications:
What Youll Bring- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters in Tax a plus).
- CPA license (preferred or in progress).
- 4+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax.
- Solid knowledge of tax laws and regulations across multiple entity types.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
