Engineer / Designer

Job description:

• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop plan markups under the guidance of Senior Engineers or Principals.
• Independently manage site work and oversee project progress.
• Attend client and project meetings alongside senior leadership.
• Assist with construction administration, including site observations and adherence to safety standards.
• Mentor and oversee Junior Engineers, fostering their professional growth.
• Independently manage and complete design documentation (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration) for small, medium, and select large projects under supervision.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company core values.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college/university, OR
• Associates degree in a technical or vocational field with equivalent practical experience.

Certifications:

• Professional Engineering (PE) License required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam for drafting and design.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, project management, and construction administration.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
