Role Review:As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone of our client's client engagement pre-sales and post-sales efforts. Partnering with sales, customer success and product teams, you will help organizations understand, implement, and optimize their security solutions. This role combines technical expertise, communication skills and a customer-first mindset to ensure clients receive measurable value from our technology throughout their lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities- Collaborate with account executives during customer meetings and demos, clearly articulating the technical benefits of the platform.
- Provide hands-on technical support post-sale, guiding clients through deployment, configuration, and optimization reviews.
- Develop solution architectures and detailed specifications that align with customer requirements, including timelines, resources, and scope.
- Partner with engineering teams to create tailored demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and pilots that showcase product capabilities.
- Evaluate existing IT/security environments for gaps and recommend improvements that integrate with their cybersecurity solutions.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for product and operations teams.
- Deliver engaging product education sessions, including webinars, workshops, and training for both internal and external audiences.
- Represent at industry events, acting as both a technical advisor and brand ambassador.
- Anticipate project risks or challenges and develop proactive strategies to keep client implementations on track.
- Contribute to technical documentation, case studies, and best-practice guides to support broader adoption and enablement.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in IT, networking, or security engineering roles.
- Prior exposure to the cybersecurity or enterprise software sector is highly desirable.
- Strong grasp of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, business-relevant value propositions.
- Familiarity with the sales process and supporting pre- and post-sales technical activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in presenting to technical and executive audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative approach to customer challenges.
