About the RoleAs a Senior Loan Operations Assistant, youll play a key role in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining loan documentation for commercial and consumer loans. Youll ensure accuracy and compliance across all lending files, provide operational support to lenders and credit teams, and handle a variety of administrative and reporting tasks that keep the department running efficiently.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing commercial and consumer loan document packages.
- Balancing general ledger accounts and reviewing daily loan payment activity.
- Coordinating loan participations and ensuring accurate reconciliation with correspondent banks.
- Completing monthly and quarterly reporting for senior leadership.
- Providing backup support for loan booking, payment processing, and document imaging.
- Pulling credit reports, flood certificates, title work, and UCC searches.
- Delivering high-quality service to internal teams and external customers.
Qualifications:
What Youll Need- Associate degree (Bachelors degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of loan operations or loan documentation experience, preferably using LaserPro.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Jack Henry, LaserPro, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
