An exciting opportunity has opened for a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join a reputable mechanical contracting team in Brookfield, Connecticut. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in complex commercial environmentsinstalling, maintaining, and repairing large-scale heating and cooling systems that power offices, industrial facilities, and institutional buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and service commercial HVAC systems including chillers, split systems, packaged units, rooftop units, and cooling towers.
- Perform installations and repairs on commercial heating systems (oil, propane, natural gas, and heat pumps).
- Conduct preventive maintenanceincluding diagnostics, coil cleaning, and filter replacements.
- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and system optimization during site visits.
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and construction drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely, high-quality project completion.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service work, materials used, and client communication.
- Uphold strict safety standards and participate in ongoing training initiatives.
Qualifications:
What Youll Need- 35 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- EPA Universal Certification (required).
- S or D license (CT) preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
