This is a hands-on role working on complex, large-scale commercial and industrial plumbing systems across a range of facilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial plumbing systems, including:
  • Water Treatment Systems: Deionized Water, Reverse Osmosis, pH Neutralizers, Water Softeners.
  • Backflow Prevention Systems: RPZ Assemblies, Double Check Detector Assemblies, Vacuum Breakers, and Check Valves.
  • Domestic Water Distribution: Hot/Cold Water Lines, Water Closets, Lavatories, Urinals, Mop Sinks, Water Coolers, etc.
  • Gas Piping Systems: Natural Gas, Propane, Compressed Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen, CO, and other specialty gases.
  • Chemical/Sanitary Waste & Vent Systems: Including Neutralization Tanks.
  • Storm Water Drainage, Steam, and Grease Trap Systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure efficient, code-compliant project delivery.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and ensure all work adheres to local and state plumbing codes.
  • Provide clear communication to clients and team members on project progress and site conditions.

Qualifications:

What Youll Need
  • 35 years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing.
  • Valid Connecticut Plumbing License (P2 or P1 preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing codes and practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
