Job description:
This position will ensure, the Admissions team meet pre-set goals and performance standards for the continued success of the campus. The Director of Admissions will monitor employee staffing levels, lead flow, planning and implementing local area marketing initiatives with the Marketing team.
- Recruit, train, manage, and motivate Admissions Representatives and support staff
- Evaluate phone calls biweekly, interviews monthly, and Professional Standards quarterly
- Conduct annual and semi-annual performance reviews for Admissions staff
- Collaborate with peer departments for excellent customer service and student experience
- Observe interviews and phone calls to provide feedback and coaching
- Review inbound recorded calls within 72 hours for accuracy and proper handling
- Arrange staffing schedules for full coverage of inbound leads
- Track, monitor, and report progress toward start goals
- Coach Admissions Representatives for future leadership roles
- Collaborate with campus management to meet admissions goals and submit reports
- Work with Financial Aid for STITCH/GAP meetings to maintain customer service
- Assess admissions policies with campus Executives and Regional Directors
- Plan and conduct campus events like open houses and orientations
- Lead daily standups and weekly team meetings to review progress and policies
- Correspond with prospective students on admissions standards
- Demonstrate high integrity, business acumen, and analytical ability
- Be reliable, presentable, and student-facing as a leader
- Guide students through the admissions process
- Show high energy, leadership, and ability to train subordinates
- Be familiar with CRM, CampusVue, and proficient in MS Office
- Have superior verbal and written communication skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Qualifications:
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven 4+ years in enrollment management
- For-profit admissions experience required (non-profit experience a plus)
- Proficient in enrollment management practices
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and implementation skills
- Multitasking, excellent communication, cultural sensitivity, and ethics
