We are looking for a dedicated and driven Dean to join our growing academic/practice partnership team.
Please Note: This position is located in Fresno, CA.
You will be responsible for instructional and management responsibilities for the specified Workforce Development site;
- Responsible for providing site supervision of nursing program activities;
- Assists the Dean of Workforce Development with implementing special projects; and
Assists the Dean of Workforce Development with planning, developing, managing, updating, and evaluating all aspects of the program including, but not limited to:
- Faculty and staff;
- Clinical site liaison;
- Clinical calendars and matrix;
- Blended Learning Curriculum implementation;
- Program compliance with Board and/or accreditor rules and regulations; site visits;
- Student advocate;
- Program policies and procedures;
- Faculty and student handbooks;
- Oversee maintenance of and identification of needed supplies and equipment to meet program objectives.
Assists with preparing data and other written materials for all required state and Board requirements, reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site visits.
- Assists with maintaining on-site student records;
- Collaborates with HR to maintain required faculty and staff documentation;
- Identifies need for obtaining outside resources for the nursing program;
- Serves on program committees;
- Assists with admission process and nursing core orientation;
- Must be able to fill-in for clinical, skills lab, or sim lab when vacancies occur.
Qualifications:
- 1 year teaching in BSN program required
- 3 years leadership experience, MSN preferred
- 1 year bedside nursing in last 5 years
- Valid, clear RN license (CA or WFD state)
- Masters or higher in nursing, education, or administration
- 1 year teaching in college in nursing programs
- 1 year direct patient care as RN
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Committed to diversity per CA law

- Leadership style focused on teamwork
- Proficient in MS Teams, Zoom, LMS
- Ability to lead diverse teams
- Experience in supervision, planning, budgeting
