Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of governmental audit engagements with precision and attention to detail.
  • Supervise and mentor teams of 24 auditors, fostering professional growth and high performance.
  • Ensure all audits are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards for Partner review.
  • Communicate audit findings clearly and effectively to clients and governing bodies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Travel to client sites across Georgia and South Carolina as needed.
  • Provide ongoing training, guidance, and feedback to Interns and Staff to support career development.
  • Stay current with industry standards, including GAAS, GASB, and GAAP.

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • Proven experience in public accounting, preferably with a focus on governmental audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAS, GASB, and GAAP principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as engagements require.
