Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Primary Care, Outpatient


Job description:

A leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles County is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Womens Health NP/PA to join their multidisciplinary outpatient primary care team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to underserved and uninsured populations across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to women, including preventive care, chronic disease management, reproductive health, and wellness assessments.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, PAs, NPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
  • Active NP or PA certification in California.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of post-certification clinical experience (clinical rotations during training do not count).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to conduct full patient assessments without an interpreter.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to underserved communities.
