Job description:
This position will play a critical role in reorganizing the millwork shop, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and integrating new technologies to increase efficiency and output without sacrificing craftsmanship or safety.
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
- Associates degree in industrial, mechanical or wood working technology is also acceptable
- 7+ years of experience in plant or technical operations within manufacturing; woodworking or architectural millwork experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with architectural woodworking production process.
- Experience with equipment used to produce architectural woodworking products (CNCs, finishing systems, and building materials).
- Experience in leading change management, lean manufacturing, or similar reorganization projects.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with maintenance tracking systems, ERP software
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent preferred.
