This position reports directly to the Quality Manager and is responsible for the
general and specific job duties as described below:

General Job Duties:

e To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the
department's established procedures and work instructions.

Specific Job Duties:

e Follow all Industries health and safety policies and procedures that

provide for a safe and healthful workplace for all employees, contractors and visitors.

Attend all job and safety related training as required.

e Do not operate any equipment, machinery or perform any job task unless you
have competed documented training

e Participate in all accident investigations, internal inspections or audits or those
conducted by any regulatory agency.

e Do not modify or by-pass any safety-related systems on any equipment or
machinery.

e Immediately report any unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviors to your Team
Leader, Supervisor or the Department Manager.

e Immediately report any accidents, incidents or near-misses to your Team
Leader, Supervisor Department Manager or the Safety Department.

Complete pre-operational safety checklists prior to operating any equipment or
machinery

e To direct and follow health and safety policies and
procedures that provide for a safe and healthful workplace for all employees, contractors and visitors.

Exemplify the Charter principle for a safe and healthful workplace by correcting
unsafe behaviors, eliminate or reduce the possibility of an employee injury due
to hazardous conditions.

Immediately respond, in a positive and proactive manner to any
employee's health and safety concern or suggestion.

Immediacy report any accidents, incidents or near misses to the Safety
Department and complete the required Accident Reporting Forms within 24
hours.

Interpreting, modifying, and maintaining measurement policies and
procedures

Perform monthly terminal gain/loss analysis. Investigate instances of mis-
measurement; to identify research, analyze and report measurement
problems.

Inspects stamped parts to ensure that hole locations, contour measurements,
and shapes conform, within prescribed tolerances, to blueprint specifications,
using coordinate measuring machine and working to Automotive common
tolerances.

Aligns part with specified locations or measurement points on charts and
examines projected enlargement to determine if hole locations, contour, and
shape of part fall within tolerance lines.

Configure and create new software programs to blueprint/CAD dataset
specifications

Compares readings with chart and blueprint specifications and caiculates
differences between readings and specifications.

Analyze the CMM reports and give feedback to production / process
Engineers to improve the production process.

Records inspection data and interprets findings to supervisory personnel.

May operate coordinate measuring machines equipped with spotting and
scribbling device to locate, spot and scribe tool, gauge, fixture, and die
blanks.

Drives measurement improvements and processes.Planning, scheduling and
coordinating work with other departments to ensure timely completion of
equipment installation and repair.

Perform other duties as required

Skills and Experience Required:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence behavior
through positive dialogue and have strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Minimum of six to eight (6-8) years of prior experience in a manufacturing
environment.

Experience in computer skills such as Microsoft Word or Excel

Fluent in English (reading and writing).

e Demonstrated strong organizational skills as well as oral and written
communication skills required.

Education:

e High School diploma or GED preferred.
e Bachelor Degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

e This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while sitting
for up to eight (8) hours a day and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds on an
infrequent basis. Standing or walking on an infrequent basis may be required.
Good vision at a close distance is required. Must be capable of performing
repetitive motion at, above and below shoulder height for up to six (6) hours a
day. (See attached sheet for detailed physical description of this position.)

Decostar Training Requirements

e You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent
with Decostar business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality,
continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be
an essential part of your job and Decostar business operations.
