Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to
build, wire, modify, and test custom electromechanical systems,
prototype fixtures, and rack-mount test cabinets for the avionics,
defense, and medical industries. If you thrive in a custom-built

Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble and modify electrical and mechanical custom prototype
fixtures and 19" rack-mount test stands.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and
customer specifications.
- Build and wire control panels, custom cable assemblies, and
interconnect systems (including VPC hardware and Pogo Pin fixtures).
- Perform mechanical modifications (drilling, cutting, fitting) and
soldering (wire tinning and PCB).
- Test functional performance using DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power
supplies.
- Inspect all installations and mechanical parts to ensure the highest
standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Requirements & Eligibility

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Required:
- 510 years of experience in electronics or electromechanical
assembly.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering
Technology (EET) or a related technical degree.
- Hands-on proficiency with crimping, wire termination, soldering,
harness building, and functional testing.
- Excellent team orientation and communication skills.
Preferred:
- IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001).
- PCB hand-soldering experience and familiarity with ESD-safe work
practices.
- Background in avionics/defense and experience in custom
low-volume/high-mix production.
