  • Three or more years of relevant Paper & Pulp experience is preferred.
  • The hiring manager may consider someone with less than three years if the candidate has strong technical exposure, confidence, maturity, curiosity, and clear customer-facing potential.
  • More experience is helpful, but the right personality and long-term potential are more important than simply finding someone with ten years of sales experience.
  • Tissue experience is especially attractive because the major Green Bay customer produces significant tissue volume.

  • Able to challenge customers professionally when appropriate
  • Comfortable walking into a mill and adding value quickly
  • Relationship-oriented
  • Capable of identifying business opportunities while providing technical service

  • Interested in continued growth and broader responsibility

Why is This a Great Opportunity:

  • Strong blend of technical service and account growth, ideal for someone who enjoys solving mill process challenges while building long-term customer relationships.
  • Minimal overnight travel (1-5%) for someone located near Green Bay or Appleton, with most activity handled through local day travel.
  • Highly visible role with succession potential, offering the opportunity to grow into broader regional responsibility over time.
  • Competitive compensation of $125K$135K total target compensation, along with a company vehicle and covered business expenses.
  • Flexible background requirements, with consideration for both paper chemical professionals and strong mill-side candidates who have the personality and aptitude to move into a customer-facing role.
  • Hands-on technical work, including process troubleshooting, product trials, performance testing, and helping mills improve machine efficiency and reduce operating issues.
