Job description:
Duties:
- Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting.
- Budgeting
- Coordinate month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off procedures
- Preparation of financial statements
- Financial analysis
- Account reconciliations
- Assist in tax-related activities
- Participate in inventory counts
- Capital project accounting
- Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit by outside auditors
- Prioritize responsibilities
Supervision
Will supervise two personnel.
Will report to the divisional Controller which is local.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Financial Accountant that could supervise two accountants.
- This is a manufacture so ideal candidate would come out of supervision but would consider others such as banking, healthcare etc.
