Tax Manager


Job description:

We are actively seeking to hire two experienced Partnership Tax Managers. We are looking for a candidate that has extensive/primary partnership experience, and in real estate operating entities. Below is a summary of the position and key details:

Open Positions:

  • Role: Tax Manager (2 positions)
  • Experience Required: 6-8 years of minimum experience specializing in complex partnership tax returns and related tax laws. Expertise in partnerships is essential.

Work Environment:

  • Location: While we operate as a fully remote firm, we do have a 12,000 sq. ft., award-winning office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. However, candidates must live within a 45-minute commute of the office for occasional client meetings, mentor lunches, etc. (No exceptions).

  • Tax Advantage Entity Structures
  • Income Deferral Strategies (IRC 1031 & IRC 1033)
  • Opportunity Funds (IRC 1400Z)
  • Relief of Debt Tax Planning and Election Determination
  • Operating Agreement Reviews
  • Potential Buyer/Seller Introductions

Employment Requirements (All Must Be Met):

  • CPA Certification: Must hold a CPA or have passed all parts.
  • Firm Experience: Preferably from a Big 4 or Top 100 CPA firm, with extensive partnership tax experience as the primary focus.
  • Academic Excellence: A minimum GPA of 3.5 (transcripts will be required after hiring).
